SFDS is a full service scenic shop, while we do sets for film/TV and photography, OUR TRUE SPECIALTY AND WHAT WE DO BEST IS PRODUCTION CAMPAIGNS AND POP UPS FOR ADVERTISING AND MARKETING COMPANIES. WE DO GORILLA MARKETING BETTER THAN ANY ONE ELSE! 70% of our Clientele fall into this category. SFDS not only delivers innovative ideas but real business results as well. We work with designer or in the case you need a designer we are there for you. We play fast and work hard with an exceptional turnaround rate that allows for unequivocal accountability. Together, our team optimizes efficiency with total integration of top tier designers, competitive engineers, skilled CAD technicians, forward thinking scenic artists and master carpenters. We are not by far the largest shop, but we will stand toe to toe with any one when it comes to speed and quality, and because we are not one of the big boys your projects will not get lost and you will always work directly with the owners. No Project is either to big or to small.

Eric J. WinstonFounder

Eric founded SFDS in 2005 by accident. His construction firm was in the middle of several residential projects when a friend of his brothers was in need of some one to fabricate an exhibition and that project for Formavison spiralled into a second and then a third event. Eric realized that the quick pace and his 15 year construction background were ideally suited for doing special events. And were a lot more fun than general construction. SFDS was born, and has continued to grow from the first 1000sq' shop to our brand new 5000sq' shop.

Eric's uncanny ability to grasp a concept and see the end of a project from the moment drawings or concept are presented is the driving force behind the perfection that SFDS exemplifies. He stays 3 steps ahead of everything so that nothing is missed and time is never lost. Eric leads all projects and you will always deal with him.

He sepnds his spare time with his beautiful wife and daughter and soon son to be up in the Catskills.

Everything from our contracting background, to our Greenpoint, New York based fabrication shop that spans 5,000 square feet, enables productions large or small. Additionally, we offer a full mobile shop that creates limitless location work. We will go any where we are needed. Distance is not a problem.

Since the inception of SFDS, our clientele is rapidly increasing with world renowned companies. A sampling of our previous clients include: Lexus, Diesel, Bravo, USA Net Work, Swarovski, Target, Starbucks, Project Global Trade Shows, Vera Wang, Sisely, Bacardi Limon, Soft & Dri, 3.1 Philp Lim and Andrew Wang, Evian, Delta, Subway, Discovery. Our collective design capability has guided us to work with successful designers.
