THE CURRENT ON 10TH: URBAN ELECTRIC

To celebrate the launch of Urban Electric’s The Current, Vol. 6, SFDS partnered with legendary visual artist Robert Rufino to transform New York’s 10th Street into a series of "street theater" window installations. Spanning the storefronts of Nickey Kehoe, Plain English, and Maison Gerard, the project required a high level of artisanal detail to match the brand’s commitment to craft. We fabricated immersive environments featuring hand-sewn textile backdrops and intricate, hand-painted scenic elements. The centerpieces included custom-engineered kinetic displays, most notably a large-scale spinning globe that served as a focal point for the activation.
